VMware Explore Europe 2024 Session Scheduler

:right
With 6 weeks to go before the Barcelona event, the Session Scheduler for VMware Explore will become available tomorrow (24 September 2024). The scheduler allows you to book your spots at the many sessions in the catalogue and start planning your week of learning. Booking a place early not only guarantees you will get into the session but also gives the organisers a good picture of which sessions are the most popular- this often means that busy sessions can be moved to a larger room, or even repeated later in the week to cope with demand.

Look out for new sessions

Don’t just rely on any sessions you’ve already favourited in the Content Catalog as content may have been added since you did. Remember as well to keep checking back between now and the event to look for extra sessions that may be announced. You may also see some breakouts on new products or features being announced during the event itself.

What if a session is full?

Firstly, check back again later. Some places can free up as people change their priorities or finish working their schedule out and release their seat.

If that doesn’t work then the breakout sessions will usually allow you to turn up on the day and queue up. In my experience I’ve always been able to get in to sessions by this route, but as a warning I have been in popular sessions where the people on the wait list have ended up standing round the back and sides of the auditorium rather than getting a seat. Try and plan ahead (and as I mentioned, it helps the organisers plan ahead too) but don’t panic if your must-see session is fully booked when you get to the scheduler.
